Jonas Evenstad er slagverker og en sterk stemme i den yngre generasjonen med samtidsmusikere. Han arbeider innenfor interpretasjon og improvisert musikk og har med det spilt på festivaler som Ung Nordisk musikk og Motvind. Hans siste og største prosjekt var en interpretasjon av Karlheinz Stockhausens Mikrophonie 1 som ble gjort på ULTIMAs åpningskonsert 2023. Han er aktiv i ensembler som Ensemble Koryfe og har spilt med blant andre Oslo Sinfonietta.
